I contacted Ticketmaster in Spain (UK ticketmaster don't have access to Alhambra ticket processes so can't help you) and asked why I did not have a morning/afternoon session on my receipt they said that as long as I arrived at the Nasrid Palaces at the allotted time I would be alright. Sure enough, we arrived at the Alhambra at 10:00 am, I retrieved my tickets from the Ticketmaster office (Turn right in front of the Main Alhambra Entrance Building, Just after the shop, the office is about 50m ahead, to the right). The ticket itself is Titled Alhambra General' with the 12:30 time slot on it - no mention of a morning or afternoon session.

Note that although we arrived 15 minutes before our allotted time slot, we didn't get into the Nasrid palaces until about 12:45 because there was only one guy processing tickets and if someone has a problem, it holds the whole queue up.

Free tickets can be reserved either in-person at the MDCA box office or through Ticketmaster. Please note that if you wish to reserve tickets through Ticketmaster there will be a processing fee of $0.75 per ticket.

It's recommended to buy the tickets in advance, as it receives a lot of visitors and the Nasrid palaces have a limited number of places. I think that the best thing to do is to buy them around a month in advance. On Ticketmaster, you can find the official tickets for the whole of the Alhambra and Generalife. 041b061a72
